Venky's Tulasi for Dasara, audio in September

Venky enjoys one of the highest success rates amongst actors and his saleability at the boxoffice is unquestionable. His last two films - Lakshmi and AMAV were runaway hits. His next film is 'Tulasi' which is a faction drama and has a child sentiment too. The movie has Nayanatara, cast opposite Venky. The movie's unit is presently in Austria shooting a song. The producer D. Suresh Babu feels that Dasara is a good season to release, due to the holiday period and their banner's previous hit - Jayam Manadera too was released during the same time. Boyapati Srinu, who delivered the hit Bhadra directs this film, while Devi Sri Prasad scores the music. The audio of the film would release through Aditya Music in the first week of September.

Nagarjuna’s Don music on 18th November at Vizag

The music of Nagarjuna and Lawrence’s latest film – Don would release on the 19th of November. The makers announced the audio release date much in advance. The audio function of the movie would be held in Vizag. Lawrence debuts as a music composer with this film, while its his fourth film as a director and third in telugu. The previous film in Nag and Lawrence’s combination is Mass, which was a blockbuster then. Lawrence also plays an important role in this film. The movie would release on the 23rd December as announced before. K.L Kumar Chowdary produces this film on Sri Keerthi Creations. The film has Anushka Shetty cast opposite Nag for the second time after Super.

Sneha, Priyamani, Parvati Melton in Balayya’s Ranga Panduranga

After delivering the run away hits – Annamaya and Sri Ramadasu, veteran director KRR sticks to the genre, he is comfortable with. His next film is Ranga-Panduranga which would have Balakrishna playing the lead role with three ladies cast opposite him. They are Sneha, Priyamani and Parvati Melton. Like the previous films, J.K Bharavi contributes the story, while M.M Keeravani composes the music. The movie would be produced by K. Krishnamohan Rao. The movie was supposed to be launched in August itself, but was postponed to September as Balayya is busy with his daughter Bramhini’s marriage.

Murugadoss to direct Charan Teja!

Tamil director A R Murugadoss who directed blockbuster Ghajini and later Stalin with Chiranjeevi is now currently making Hindi remake of Ghajini with Aamir Khan. Allu Aravind is producing the movie. Murugadoss is considered to be very close to Chiru family Now, he is being roped in to direct a film with Charan Teja.

According to sources, soon after Ghajini (Hindi version), he might take up this project. Rajamouli will be directing Charan Teja's second film for Geeta Arts which will begin shortly.

Three Tamil writers for Chiru's movie?

Script work for Chiranjeevi's maiden directorial venture is in full-swing. According to our sources, three Tamil writers have been brought in to prepare the script. Bhoopathi, Krishnaswamy and Vallasurai are the writers who are working on the project, sources informed us.

Chiranjeevi is currently holidaying in London and will return to Hyderabad in a week.

Chiruta release unlikely this month

release of Ramcharan Tej’s debut film Chiruta this month looks doubtful, as per the talk of the trade circles. Even ten days after the release of the audio, no trailer or promo saw the limelight. Though a few designs are making rounds in the press, a full-fledged campaign is yet to start. Two dates are in the air. September 22, when Chiranjeevi’s Pranam Khareedu released; and September 27 as per general muhurtam. However, there is no word from Chiranjeevi in this regard, it is said. Everyone knows that Chiranjeevi personally supervised the launch of his son, his shooting schedules at Bangkok and dance rehearsals in particular. In these conditions, Chiruta’s release seems to get dragged till next month first week. Both Ashwini Dutt and Puri Jagannath are said to have left the publicity factor to the hero’s dad.

NTR plays Kranthi in Kanthri

NTR’s character name in in his next film Kanthri is Kranthi. All you got to do is change the location of r in Kranthi to get Kanthri. Hankika Motwani (Desa Muduru fame) and Jiah Khan (Nishabh fame) are doing female leads. Mehar Ramesh makes his debut as director in Telugu with this film. C Aswini Dutt produces it on Vyjayanthi banner
